New Educational Center in the University Hospital, Library, Internet room
At the disposal of students there are classrooms with computer facilities, a library offering foreign-language literature, and a student club.
Required and recommended literature can be borrowed from the Faculty Library.
For individual preparation of the students numerous scientific journals are available in the study room. The students may use the computer study rooms allowing the access to the Internet and bibliographical network databases. Every student gets an e-mail address and Internet access free.
Accommodation
Accommodation for international students available close to the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital area. Accommodation is provided at a modern student's hostel Na Kotli or hostel Palachova. Students stay in flats with kitchen, toilet and bathroom for 4 students (with two double rooms) or 6 students (with two three-bedded rooms). Price per night is approx. 90-150 CZK per night . Otherwise students can stay in close hotel Alessandria or can rent a flat.
Sports and Recreational facilities
Physical activities help to build and maintain good physical condition and they also provide social integration for students. Physical education courses are optional for foreign students taking classes in English, but the credits could be counted in your credit system if you select Physical Education as an optional subject.
The Department of Physical Education offers the courses and sport activities like swimming, football, volleyball, basketball, cycling, tennis, athletics and sport-games programs are available for all university students.
Culture life
There are plenty of ways to spend your leisure time in Hradec like visiting cinemas, theatres, music clubs or pubs, taking different sightseeing tours or simply take a trip to Prague or another European city.
